Since the early days, HoneyBook has been an international team split between our headquarters in San Francisco and our office in Tel Aviv. Today, our team continues to grow with employees around the world, and as far as Australia.
This global setup has conditioned the company to prioritize culture and connection so team members anywhere can work effectively together. No matter the distance, HoneyBook has always operated as “one office.”
After 10 years of growth and with humbling milestones behind us—including $100 million ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and more than $10 billion in business booked through the platform—we found ourselves asking: what do we want to accomplish in the next 10 years?
Who better to answer this question than the incredible employees who got us here? So in March 2023, we brought our nearly 200-person team, plus six HoneyBook members, together to celebrate One Office Week at our office in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The goal was to connect with one another, our members, and our mission—to empower independent business owners to be successful in doing the work they love.
What happened next was five days of learning, building, and planning for the future. We reflected on 10 years of memories; from the evolution of the product and launching new features to supporting our members through the pandemic.
We celebrated the hard work and intention that went into our new brand, designed to embody the spirit, courage, and creativity of the independent business we aim to support.
We unveiled our new core values: People come first, raise the bar, keep it real, own it, and we love what we do. These values are the foundation from which we operate and make decisions.
We were joined by HoneyBook members Joshua Brown of Joshua Brown Photography, Kait Day of Nowaday Studio, Diana Wei Fang of The Finer Points, Adam Morgan of DJ Adam Morgan, Priscilla Presley of Forward Female, and storytelling strategist Akua Konadu. We discussed each of their unique clientflows to better understand what’s working, where HoneyBook can do more to help, and how they want to grow.
And we built relationships as a HoneyBook team through working sessions, hackathon projects, group dinners, and cross-functional team-building activities.
Coming together to connect in person empowers our team to continue working efficiently when apart. Now, backed by a better understanding of our members, recommitted to our mission, and grounded in our core values, HoneyBook is ready to take on the next 10.
One Office Week was our first stride into the next decade of exciting and fulfilling work in service of our mission: to make it easier to run an independent business and live a life filled with passion and purpose.
